Tempe is home to nearly 170,000 people – from Arizona State University
students who are here for the semester, to lifelong residents who call
the East Valley home year-round. Depending on where your arrest occurred,
your case may be held at the sole criminal court in this area, Tempe Municipal

  • This court is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • The court is presided over by Judge Kevin Kane

  • Language services are available to non-English speakers
  • This court participates in the Maricopa County Regional Homeless Court
    program, as well as the East Valley Regional Veteran’s Court program
